The january Daily practice project is an invitation to engage in your art practice every day in January 2021. This commitment to daily practice can take any form you choose.
how?
We will make daily, meet weekly, and will collaborate on a culminating exhibition of the resulting work. The format of the exhibition is TBD.
We’ll meet on zoom as a group on thursdays 5-7pm to look at and talk about the work we’re making. In between meetings we will stay in touch via a google group and by using the hashtag #bosscrittdailyJanuary on IG.
Why?
To be in community. To further the work. To (re)commit to the studio. To have something going on in january. For structure. To try something new. Because ‘Everyday in August’ was Great. to seek. To find. To lose. to leave. to experiment. to finish. to start. to shift. For any reason you want or for no reason at all.
